Christian – We are followers of Jesus, thankful for all that God has done for us through Christ’s death and resurrection.
As a member of the Evangelical Alliance, we have adopted their ‘Basis of Faith‘ as a statement of our own belief and conviction.
Compassionate – Caring for those in need both near and far away, seeking to love as we have been loved.
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:16-18.
Collaborative – working with churches, other charities, businesses, schools, social services and other partners to reach the best possible outcomes for people in need.
Creative – being resourceful in finding effective solutions, recycling and innovating, to ensure that all the resources we receive are put to good use.
