Paul Foster MP for South Ribble and Councillor Peter Wilson, Deputy Leader of Chorley Council, visited International Aid Trust on Friday 10th July, with Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP, to thank and encourage our wonderful volunteer teams.
Paul (pictured above, second left, with some of our team), is a proud military veteran who served for 15 years in the Royal Engineers. His service included Operation Haven following the First Gulf War and the Kosovo conflict in 1999, among other deployments. We are honoured that he is one of the many veterans who continue to support our humanitarian work in Ukraine and beyond.

Peter Wilson (pictured above), has represented the Adlington & Anderton ward since 2008. As Deputy Leader of Chorley Council and Executive Member for Resources, Policy & Performance, he works closely with Sir Lindsay Hoyle and, like Sir Lindsay, is a tireless public servant who wholeheartedly supports the aims and objectives of our ministry.
We are deeply grateful to both Paul and Peter for giving so generously of their time to visit our headquarters, meet our volunteers, and encourage the teams who work so tirelessly to bring hope, practical help, and the love of Christ to those in greatest need.
Thank you both for your friendship, encouragement, and steadfast support. It means more than you know, now and in the future.
