We have been working in Ukraine for thirty five years, our local staff and volunteers are part of a national network of churches, these connections help to get the items that you kindly donate to where they are most needed. Our team are tirelessly travelling to towns, cities and villages that have been devastated by the war, distributing the aid that is sent from our warehouse in Lancashire.
Food, toiletries, nappies, sanitary items, clothing, shoes, bedding, bicycles, camping equipment, generators, kitchen and cooking equipment are much needed and gratefully received, by people in areas close to the frontlines and by those who have been internally displaced. Our team visit all the areas of the country that are most in need, including Kharkiv, Mykaliav, Kherson, Kramatorsk, Donetsk and Sumy. At least one evangelist is included in each visiting team and the good news of the Gospel is always shared with the people who are receiving humanitarian aid.
Bernard, our Founder and CEO, is pictured above during a visit to Ukraine, distributing shoebox gifts and other vital aid. He says “My heart breaks and I fill up when I get chance to remember what we’ve seen and to look at the photos I’ve taken. These beautiful young families have been bombed out of their homes in Donetsk and they were brought to a shelter in this village for help, I didn’t dare ask where their husbands and fathers were. We were able to provide them with bedding and clothing etc. These little ones have lost everything, but their mothers were so grateful.”

Pictured above left is one of over one hundred articulated lorries, that we have sent to Ukraine in the last four years, unloading at our distribution centre at Motovylivka, to the west of Kyiv. As you can see, some of the aid was loaded straight into a van and trailer to be taken out. The driver was waiting for the lorry to arrive and then drove to a hospital near the frontlines, a round trip of about five hundred miles.
Above right are some of the refugees from the east of Ukraine, who are staying at temporary accommodation at at Motovylivka, receiving emergency parcels. The church family are doing a great job of supporting people who have lost everything.
The photo below left shows more of your donations being given out in the Kramatorsk region, by very dedicated volunteer Ivanka (second right), who also travels long distances to help families and individuals in need, as well as military units.

On another visit to Kramatorsk (above right), our Ukraine Director, Pastor Pasha is pictured left delivering aid to the Good News Church. Pastor Victor from the Church says “We are very grateful to God and to all the British people who have helped us. Recently many displaced people have come to our city, who have lost their homes and their families, which is why we need your help.” The churches continue to support internal refugees and as they reflect Christ’s love to those in need, they are seeing more and more people come to faith.
Thank you very much to everyone who continues to donate aid for Ukraine it is still very much needed, thank you also for your donations for transport, which make it possible for us to keep sending the lorries out.

Please pray with us for God’s continued provision of all the items needed and funds for transport. Please pray for God’s protection, help and strength for our teams as they travel, minister and provide practical help. Please pray for everyone whose life has been devastated by the war to know God’s loving presence and provision.
