Some reflections from our volunteers on being able to help the people of Ukraine in a very practical way.
Even an hour or two a week can make a big difference!
We welcome volunteers in a variety of different roles at our charity shops, offices and warehouse, as well as occasional volunteers to help with events etc.

We rely on our wonderful team of warehouse volunteers to sort and pack the wide variety of donated aid that comes into the warehouse every day. There are also some volunteers who are 'on call' to come and help when we are loading trucks. There's always a warm welcome and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.

Volunteer drivers are always needed to drive our vans to pick up donations for the warehouse and furniture store, as well as helping to get other vehicles where they are needed.

Our shops welcome volunteers of all ages from 18+, from sorting and preparing donations for sale, to operating the till and helping customers find what they need, there’s a role for everyone.

We are very thankful to all the church groups, local donation collection groups, Rotary Clubs, Inner Wheel Groups, Soroptimists, knitting and craft groups and more who give their time to collecting aid, filling shoebox gifts and making beautiful items to send overseas.
