IAT supports another small UK based Charitable Trust, MeDiCT, (Mexican Disabled Childrens Trust) which is dedicated to transforming the lives of very poor disabled Mexican children who would otherwise only know pain and misery.

MeDiCT supports a large Charitable Institute called Nuevo Amanecer (New Dawn) where hundreds of disabled children are treated and educated. Mexico is a poor country and there is very little state help for disabled children. The support takes the form of expert training for the therapists, teachers, doctors and others staff. MeDiCT also support the development of the manufacturing of the wheelchairs and specialist equipment these children need, as well as sending out containers full of special wheelchairs and other equipment vital for these disabled children.

International Aid Trust are a tremendous help to MeDiCT and without their support MeDiCT would not be able to send out the containers full of used but good specialized equipment which is not available to them in Mexico. International Aid Trust help by dealing with every step of this process, donating vital equipment when they have it, storage, and all the expertise necessary for packing, preparing paperwork and importation into Mexico.

Thousands of children have had their lives transformed by this help from IAT. The Instituto Nuevo Amanecer is an admirable place, as they go out to other clinics and Institutes in Mexico and share the knowledge which MeDiCT has helped them with.

They also donate to other struggling Institutes, some of the equipment from the containers which IAT has been instrumental in getting to them.
